Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Our commitment

r8r has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We are committed to keeping children safe on our platform and to complying with all applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where we operate.

These standards apply to everyone who uses r8r and to all content shared on it: profiles, usernames, avatars, ratings, reviews, comments, lists, and any other user-generated content.

What is prohibited

The following is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate removal of the content and permanent termination of the account:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors, whether real, generated, or animated.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to engage a minor in sexual activity or to obtain sexual content from a minor.
  • Sexualising, endangering, or exploiting children in any way.
  • Sharing links to, promoting, or facilitating access to CSAE material.

r8r is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Users must meet the minimum age required by our Terms & Conditions and the app store from which they installed the app.

How we prevent and respond to CSAE

  • All user-generated content can be reported by any user, and reports are reviewed promptly.
  • Content that violates these standards is removed, and offending accounts are permanently banned.
  • We preserve relevant information and report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant authorities in the applicable jurisdiction, as required by law.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement investigations into CSAE.

How to report

If you encounter content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a child on r8r:

  • In the app: use the Report option available on any profile, rating, review, comment, or list to flag it for review.
  • By email: contact us directly at simon@himon.dev with the details.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report CSAM directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline.
